Our Systems
Integrated Management Systems
Underpinning our state-of-the-art facilities are integrated, independently certified Quality, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental Management Systems. Competent staff and established systems ensure we consistently deliver high quality products that meet stringent food safety requirements in a workplace that minimises health and safety risks and our environmental footprint.
Bonson has continuously maintained external certifications for over 15 years, updating these to meet current best practice internationally recognised standards. Scroll down to learn about the systems certifications Bonson maintains.
At Bonson, we are transparent about our systems. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to receive a copy of our Telarc certifications, arrange a tour of our facility, or learn more about our systems.
Food Safety
FSSC 22000 is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognised certification, providing a best practice framework for food safety compliance. Only compliant, food safe raw materials are used, and production facilities are segregated with red line transition areas to maintain food safety integrity.
From raw material receipt through to finished product delivery, Bonson maintains full traceability and stringent hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) controls. In response to COVID-19, Bonson has also implemented further on-site hygiene and GMP controls to keep you, the products and our team protected.
Health and Safety
ISO 45001 is the internationally recognised standard for health and safety. Certification to ISO 45001 ensures that Bonson undertakes full risk assessments of all activities and implements controls that minimise health and safety risks to all staff, contractors and visitors to site. All relevant legal requirements are also incorporated into Bonson’s systems and our team works together to not only meet, but exceed obligations to provide a healthy, safe and enjoyable work environment.
Environment
Bonson continually strives to minimise our impact on the environment and ISO 14001 certification provides the framework for both identifying and minimising environmental risks and their impacts.
We optimise products at the development stage to ensure materials are minimised and Bonson only supplies products that are either recyclable, bio-degradable or compostable.
Our purpose-built premises based on eco-design principles are further supported with energy audits and improvement initiatives to ensure our carbon footprint is minimised. We are also working towards certification to ISO 14064.1 Greenhouse gases, to provide a formal basis for further measurement and reduction.
Quality
At the centre of Bonson’s management systems is our certification to ISO 9001, which provides the foundation for all other systems and integrates them into a seamless best practice framework that is transparent, auditable and consistent.
Quality is built into every process, supplemented with regular inspections and checks at all key stages providing documented evidence of compliance, including retained product samples. Trained and competent staff using quality manufacturing equipment ensure systems are followed to produce high quality products that perform to specifications and are delivered to meet demand.
